Dividend and reimbursement
With your membership, you acquire shares in WDT and participate in the economic success of the cooperative.
As a member, you will receive a dividend on your shares depending on the business results. You also benefit from a bonus based on your turnover with selected products.
Co-determine, shape, network
The WDT is supported by its members. Veterinarians participate in important decisions of the cooperative through elected representatives.
The Assembly of Representatives elects the Supervisory Board, which in turn appoints the WDT Executive Board. In this way, the members play an active role in shaping the development of the cooperative.
Representatives' meetings also provide an opportunity to exchange ideas with colleagues from practices and clinics throughout Germany.
Advantages in everyday practice
In addition to economic participation, members also benefit from additional advantages in their day-to-day practice operations.
These include discounts for timely payment of invoices and other conditions for selected offers.
Support for practice founders
WDT supports veterinarians in setting up their own practice.
Special conditions in various product areas and extended payment terms apply to practice founders in the initial phase. As a member, you benefit from our entry-level conditions for a particularly long time.
In addition, the WDT team is on hand to advise and support founders.
Tierarzt24 partnership
As a WDT member, you can use the Tierarzt24 partnership free of charge and offer your customers an additional digital procurement channel for selected products.

WDT marketplace
Veterinary practices use the WDT marketplace to quickly and clearly order products for everyday practice work - from veterinary medicines and feed supplements to medical technology, consumables and other practice supplies.
In addition to product information and current prices, practical functions for organising your practice are also available. You can keep an eye on orders, invoices and returns at all times via your personal customer account.
Personalised service
If you have any questions about products, orders or other topics, you can contact our customer service team or our specialist veterinary advice team by telephone. A field service is also available throughout Germany for personal advice on site.
Technical service
WDT's technical service supports you with the installation, maintenance and repair of medical technology. In the event of a repair, a replacement device can be provided for the interim period.

Acquisition of shares
A (membership) share is fully subscribed as soon as it is covered with €600.
The first share for the purchase of WDT membership
Your first share requires an initial minimum deposit of €300.
As soon as your first share is covered with €600, you can purchase further shares.
From the second share
For all further shares, only an initial minimum depositof € 60 is required.
Here too, you can only purchase further shares as soon as the first share purchased is covered with€600.
How many shares can be purchased?
You can purchase a minimum of 1 share (required for WDT membership) and a maximum of 33 shares.
This results in a maximum investment amount of €19,800.
ATTENTION: The maximum investment is increased to 166 shares until 31 December 2026. This gives you the unique opportunity to increase your investment amount to up to € 99,600!
Everything about the dividend
What is the dividend calculated on?
On the total paid-in capital contribution for each full quarter of the previous year.
If you purchased shares in August 2024, for example, you will receive a pro rata dividend for the 4th quarter of 2024 in the summer of 2025.
When is the dividend for the previous year paid out?
Once the dividend has been determined by the Annual General Meeting in June, it is paid out in July.
Please note: If your most recently purchased share is not yet fully covered with € 600, the dividend will be paid out on this share until the € 600 has been reached.
To whom is the dividend paid?
To the shareholder, either the vet or the practice/clinic
Where will the dividend be paid to?
To the bank details provided on the declaration of accession
What documents are given to the customer if they are interested in becoming a member?
